The 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Supersport model year, enthusiasts of the middleweight Ninja are hoping for a new generation which would blow the competitors’ minds – such as Ducati with its Pikes Peak and Honda with its CBR – away, will be disappointed. Kawasaki announced that the 2012 ZX6-R will only get upgraded colors and graphics. Perhaps we should not hope too much, don’t you think?

2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R
We still can’t figure it out why in the world Kawasaki doesn’t apply major changes for the2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R to Supersport it can compete with Ducati and Honda. So, no power increase and no redesigned styling elements for the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Supersport 600cc. well, at least the characteristic of green color scheme is still in the picture with a different placement on the body.

You probably can’t distinguish the new color scheme and graphics at the first glance, which is why we have inserted two photos: the 2012 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R Supersport, and the second one with the current color scheme which lasts since 2009, for the sake of comparison.
