JAPAN - Manufacturing motor tuning fork logo plans to continue developing the technology for their sport bike YZF-R6. Rencanaya, the latest generation of which will be out next year will have more qualified resources.

Not yet clear what changes would be done for R6 Yamaha, however, as reported by Motorcyclenews, the producer was deceived in order YZF-R6 has a higher performance in the run up the middle and at 16,000 rpm.

Yamaha YZF-R6 or Yamaha R6 at North America

The thing is that with the 2010 Yamaha R6 we can’t even do this (at least not totally) because we are familiar with the Team Yamaha Blue/White, Raven and Pearl White paintjobs as these are also found on the 2009 model year, but have been rethought and we guess they look slightly different after all.

The Pearl White and Raven ones look much simpler, pretty much like a racing bike which didn’t yet got its sponsorship livery and number, while the Team Yamaha Blue/White gets, obviously, white where you would have found black on the previous model – on the lower half of the fairing. The graphics are also new and simpler, but we kind of miss the Vivid Orange/Raven color combination. We believe that Yamaha got rid of it in an attempt to set the R6 further apart from the Red/Black 2010 Honda CBR600RR C-ABS, which we also like very much.

AMERICAN-Yamaha of North America announced the recall of 54,000 units produced YZF-R6 since August 2005 until March 2010. Withdrawals due to problems misplacement of the front side of the reflector.

According to Yamaha, the front side of the reflector is placed at the right height, so it does not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 108, of "Lamps, Reflective Devices and Associated Equipment."

Because of this placement is not appropriate, the visibility of motorcycles will be reduced, thereby increasing the risk of accidents.

Yamaha will notify the owner immediately to the dealer to order the bike can be repaired for free. The recall is direncanakankan can be started on August 11, 2010.
